Tangerine font

If you’ve been looking for an elegant, versatile font that isn’t too decorative or hard to read, then this one is absolutely perfect. Though this font can be used for a number of different occasions, there’s no question that it’s also a perfect Christmas font. If you’re looking to have your cricut draw out some perfect typography, or you’re wanting to customize classy gifts or ornaments this year, then Tangerine is a font to download. With a number of possibilities, there’s almost nothing you can’t do with this font. It’s stylized enough that it’s perfect on its own, but it’s not too fancy to be used in combination with other graphics without the risk of your design looking cramped or cluttered. Whether you’re hoping to make some tshirt designs or DIY your family Christmas cards this year, this is a font to have: Tangerine.

Joyeaux Noel font

Although this isn’t a Christmas font per say; it’s clearly a festive winter wonderland of a font, sure to doll up any of your “baby it’s cold outside” or similar typographic designs! This font looks best in white on a blue background but the creative freedom is completely up to you and limited only by your imagination. One downfall of this font is that it only offers uppercase letters and there are no special characters but there’s still so much you can do with the entire uppercase letters and numbers 1-9. Let your imagination run wild with this font: Joyeux Noel.

Old london font

Now, for a completely different kind of font: Old London. Contrasting the more cartoony bubble-letter snow caps font above, here you can see we have a more classic Christmas style. This font reminds me of Christmas at my grandma’s house in the best way because when the family gathered around the piano and sang Christmas carols, I often saw the song titles written in a font like this in some of her older Christmas music for piano booklets. This font would be stunning on DIY Christmas cards, Cricut-made to and from gift tags, and so much more! If you’re a fan of the classic Christmas font then this is definitely one for you to add to your collection: Old London.

slim handwritten font

This font is for all the Rae Dunn fans out there- you know who you are! This font is definitely reminiscent of the popular Rae Dunn font style but with a little more character as it’s a tad more wobbly and brings all the best parts of homemade things to the table. To me, this font looks like an excited little kid stayed up all night Christmas Eve practicing writing their letter to Santa in as neat of handwriting as possible, thus making the end product simply perfect.

This font feels like all my favorite memories of Christmas as a kid wrapped all together and turned into a font. Who knows, maybe I’m crazy, or maybe this font designer was a genius… maybe a little bit of both, but in the end this font is perfect for some DIY Cricut-made Rae-Dunn inspired holiday items. From coco mugs and custom dishware to aprons and tea towels personalized with a loved ones name, or your favorite festive words like “cheer” “joy” and “noel,” if your looking to create some Rae-Dunn inspired designs with a made-with-love twist then this font is perfect for you: Slim Handwritten.

5. Klepon

klepton font

Now, for the feel-good font of all the feel-good fonts: Klepton. This font includes both upper and lowercase letters, as well as numbers 1-9 and a good amount of special characters. This font is such a good one to use when you’re wanting simple, but not too simple, and stylized, but not too stylized. This font is perfect on its own and with cute graphics accompanying it like snowflakes, I could see a super cute “baby it’s cold outside” design coming out with this font. It’s also a perfect go-to for customizations! If you’re looking to DIY some Christmas presents this year personalizing things like shirts, mugs, tumblers, etc. for people and you’re not sure what a good gender-neutral font to use that isn’t necessarily holiday-specific, then this is a great one to use: Klepton.

black chancery font

Similar to font #2 (Old London), this font also gives the feeling of a classic Christmas. Though classic and timeless at the same time, this font is the perfect happy-medium between a traditional, festive, holiday font, and stunning calligraphy.

If you’re looking to cut out letters in a traditional Christmas font, but you’re not looking to do a lot of weeding or you need to font to be smaller and thus less complex, then this one would be perfect. With simple silhouettes and a touch of classic Christmas, this font would be awesome to cut out some HTV vinyl with to make some fun Christmas sweaters, or anything else for that matter!

And, as an extra perk, this font includes the full alphabet in both upper and lowercase and it also has many special characters. So, if you’re looking for a simplified or slightly more modernized take on the Old London font, then this one is an excellent choice: Black Chancery.

cardenio modern font

For any of the Charlie Brown fans out there, this font is reflective of the font used in the title of “Merry Christmas Charlie Brown” and could be the perfect font for some DIY Christmas crafts! Some popular Cricut gifts this year have been custom keychains, t shirts, mugs and tumblers and I feel like this font would be so perfect for personalizing any one of those to give as gifts this holiday season! This is another great font for those of you looking for a font to use for holiday Cricut crafts that isn’t necessarily Christmas or holiday-specific but that would be a terrific nod to Christmas, especially when accompanied by other festive graphics. So, if you’re looking for another fun, feel-good font for some Christmas Cricutting projects then this one is another awesome contender: Cardenio Modern.

what i want for christmas font

If the name of this font didn’t already give it away, this is yet another fabulous Christmas font. Not only is it a mix between mild cursive and readable calligraphy but I love how it also reminds me a bit of Christmas lights, as if the font was made of the tail end of Christmas light cords, I love it! This font would be awesome for drawn Cricut projects and there’s nothing more satisfying than sitting back and watching your Cricut perfectly execute festive typography while you sit back and sip some coco. If you’re looking for a fun, fancier Christmas font for your Cricut projects this year then this one is a must-have: What I Want For Christmas.

pirata one font

We’ve now arrived at the final traditional Christmas font although you can tell it isn’t nearly as traditional and decorative as the first two fonts. If you’re looking for that nod to classic Christmas, with a more simplistic, very easily readable font then this is another great choice. I feel like this font would be perfect for a lot of the DIY rustic Cricut decorations and ornaments you could make. Just imagine how great this font would look in white paint on burlap! Oh the endless possibilities with this one… if you’re like me, a fan of rustic decor with that little touch of traditional Christmas then this is a font to add to the books: Pirata One.

10. Scriptina

scriptina font

Now, for the last and final font: Scriptina. It almost goes without saying why this font is so perfect for Christmas. After all, you’ve read through nine other fonts already to finally arrive at the perfect cursive Christmas font! Gorgeous on just about anything in just about any color, this font is sure to doll up your elegant Christmas Cricut projects and just like all ten of these fonts here, it too is free for both personal AND commercial use, so for all you Esty store owners looking to get a leg-up on the competition this yeast for selling your Christmas crafts, look no further for the perfect Christmas cursive because this one is amazing AND free! It doesn’t get much better than that! Also perfect for DIY wedding signs and décor, any of you who have been struggling to find a simple, gorgeous and still easily read cursive font, here’s one to download: Scriptina.
